Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are now gaining popularity among different age groups due to its unique features of flexibility and quality of content. Any one can pursue the MOOCs at their own pace and time and gain knowledge on the relevant field of study. The university introduced online (MOOC) modular based short-term (6-8 weeks) awareness programme in the contemporary issues which are very relevant in our day to day life. We are sure that after completion of such MOOCs, the learners will be able to gain their competency level and apply the knowledge in their daily life for societal development. The basic philosophy of MOOCs is 3A’s i.e., Anytime, Anyone, Anywhere.

Mode of Delivery:

The Massive Open Online Course is entirely an online course. The course materials, video lectures, quiz, assessment, certificate will be provided through online only. Online support will also be provided to complete a particular MOOCs through E-mail, discussion forum, SMS etc.

Certification:

Certification is available based on the completion of activities. Certificate of Completion requires 70% on the assignments and participation in at least 5 discussion forums. ( Sample Certificate)

Eligibility:

No mandatory qualifications - Open to all.
